LARC’s Recycled Materials Art Competition

Mechanics:

1. Contest is open to Elementary Schools of Los Baños, Bay, Calauan, Victoria (Brgy. Masapang and San Benito), and Nagcarlan (Brgy Wakat, Manaol, Banca-Banca, and Maravilla only), Laguna. Each school is allowed only ONE (1) OFFICIAL ENTRY with a maximum of 3 participants.
2. The theme for this year’s contest is “Clean Water, Clear Future: Recycle to reduce our ecological footprint”.
3. Entries must not be bigger than 2 x 2 ft. and must be exclusively comprised of fully recycled/reused materials such as:

   2. Collage
   3. Sculpture
   4. Drawing
   5. Product design from found objects

4. The LARC logo (as seen below) should be part of the artwork.

5. The official entry should be the ORIGINAL creation of the contestant/s and not published previously nor entered in prior contests.
6. The poster entry should be submitted to LARC Main Office on or before November 20, 2023, 3:00 p.m., located at LCC Building, Manila South Rd., Maahas, Los Baños, Laguna.
7. On November 23, 2023, the top 10 entries will be chosen by a set of judges especially handpicked by LARC and will be uploaded at 5:00 p.m. on LARC’s official Facebook page – Laguna Water District Aquatech Resources Corporation-LARC.
8. From November 23, 2023 (5:00 pm) to December 6, 2023 (3:00 pm), the entry with the most number of Facebook LIKES will have additional point score in the criteria.
9. Online announcement of winners will be on December 7, 2023, 3:00 pm on the official LARC Facebook Page.
10. All submitted entries shall become the property of LARC.
11. The criteria for judging the top 10 entries are:

           1^st Place =   P 5,000 + Medal/s (for contestant/s) + Plaque (for the school)

           2^nd Place =  P 3,500  + Medal/s (for contestant/s) + Plaque (for the school)

           3^rd Place  =  P 2,000  + Medal/s (for contestant/s) + Plaque (for the school)

           7 Consolation Prizes = P 1000 each entry

           All entries will be given Certificates of Participation
