Description
The Water Maintenance Foreman responds to pump, motor, storage facilities, control panel, electrical and other equipment breakdowns, he oversees and coordinates the activities of water maintenance staffs involve in the repair and maintenance of plant including pump, motor, control panel, storage facilities, electrical equipment, control valves and other plant equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responds to pump, motor, storage facilities, control panel, electrical and other equipment breakdowns.
- Oversees and coordinates the activities of water maintenance staffs involve in the repair and maintenance of plant including pump, motor, control panel, storage facilities, electrical equipment, control valves and other plant equipment.
- Plans, schedules, assigns, supervises and review the work of water maintenance staffs.
- Confers with the Water Network Operations and Maintenance Supervisor and Manager to keep them informed of the key issues.
- Control and monitoring of stocks, supplies and equipment.
- Performs other related functions as may be required.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Technical or Vocational Course – Industrial Electricity and or related course.
- College Graduate of Mechanical, Civil, Sanitary, Electrical Engineering and other related course is an advantage.
- 2 years of relevant experience in pump, motor and appurtenances operation, repair and maintenance.
- With at least eight (8) hours of relevant training.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- With relevant technical knowledge.
- Preferably with Driver’s License.
