A Financial Analyst assists in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports (actuals and budgets), presentation and forecasts for various recipients, aside from reviewing financial statements.
Basic Requirements / Qualifications
- Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports (actuals and budgets), presentation and forecasts for various recipients, aside from reviewing financial statements
- Prepares monthly financial reporting package for submission to parent companies
- Prepares monthly presentation materials of YTD results and YE forecasts for presentation to Mancom, Execom and BOD
- Measures the performance of the company by studying and evaluating critical information involving different groups, including review of yearly budgets and forward plans
- Provides consultancy services to internal units by rendering financial advice and providing assistance to groups with respect to certain requirements
- Assist the finance supervisor and finance associate manager in preparing financial runs for projects and acquisitions
- Additional duties also include performing ad hoc functions
Key Responsibilities
- Graduate of Accountancy or Finance related university degree (Master or Bachelor)
- A recognised accountancy qualification and member of good standing is an advantage
- CPA preferred but not required
- Experienced Finance Professional wishing to take the next step up. One (1) or more years’ finance and accounting experience, ideally with years in working within the same industry and commercial/industry out of practice
- Experience in dealing with financial compliance matters is an advantage
- High level proficiency in using Microsoft Office Software with focus on Excel and other business management software (ERP)
